The Gin-venture is an exhilirating and memorable experience that combines a two-night stay with fine dining in the luxury of Palé Hall with an introduction to Snowdonia’s own hand-crafted artisan gin from the Snowdonia Distillery, including a guided foraging expedition to Mount Snowdon and a tour of the distillery itself.
Upon arrival you will be greeted with cocktails made from Forager’s Black and Yellow Label gin. After settling into one of our master suites you will enjoy an exquisite eight-course tasting menu created by our Head Chef Gareth Stevenson.
Beginning the following day with a hearty Welsh breakfast there follows a foraging expedition to Mount Snowdon led by local expert guides RAW Adventures, where you can collect wild juniper berries, gorse and heather flowers, the natural botanicals that contribute to Forager’s distinctive flavour. Then onward to visit the Snowdonia Distillery where the master craftsmen will talk through the entire distillation process, from selecting the choicest ingredients to learning the art of gin tasting.
Upon returning to Palé Hall, a bottle of Forager’s gin is placed in each suite allowing guests to relax after a fulfilling day, before dining from the hotel’s à la carte menu showcasing the finest of Wales’s rich culinary heritage.
