What time is check in and check out?
Guests are welcome to check in from 3:00pm, with check-out by 11:00am.
Can i request early check in or late check out?
We are happy to accommodate early arrivals or later departures whenever possible. These requests are subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least 72 hours before arrival are fully refundable. Deposits paid within this period will also be refunded in full. Payments made in advance beyond this window are non-refundable.
Are children welcome?
Palé Hall warmly welcomes children of all ages.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are welcome in selected, designated dog-friendly rooms.
Do you offer accessible rooms?
We offer one ground-floor accessible room, Westminster, and a lift throughout the house for convenience.
Is breakfast included in the rate?
All stays include a full breakfast, served each morning in the Henry Robertson.
Do you require a deposit?
A deposit or full payment is required at the time of booking, depending on the rate and terms selected.
How do i book a table?
Guests can reserve a table by calling our team directly or via the online booking link on our website.
Is dinner available for non-residents?
Dinner is available for non-residents at 6:00pm and 8:30pm each evening, subject to availability.
Do you offer tasting menus?
We offer both tasting menus and à la carte options, showcasing seasonal Welsh ingredients and Luke Selby’s culinary vision.
Is there a dress code?
Smart casual attire is requested for dinner service.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Most dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice. Please let us know any specific needs ahead of time, as last-minute requests may be limited.
Is advance booking required?
While not always required, we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred dining experience.

Do you offer transfers?
Chauffeur transfers can be arranged from £100.

Electric vehicle charging points are available on-site and do not require advance booking.
What type of rooms and suites available?
Palé Hall offers 18 individually designed rooms and suites within the main house, complemented by 4 garden suites set a short walk from the estate. Our accommodations range from classic rooms to superior suites, each designed with comfort, style, and views of the surrounding Dee Valley in mind.
The Bryntirion Inn vs Palé Hall
In addition to the main house, The Bryntirion Inn sits at the bottom of the drive, offering a more relaxed and casual setting while maintaining a five-star standard of service and comfort. It’s perfect for guests seeking a comfortable base for exploring North Wales without compromising on quality.
Are there views of the estate?
Most rooms in the main house boast sweeping views of the landscaped gardens, rolling hills, and the wider valley, providing a serene backdrop for every stay.
Is there Wi-Fi throughout the property?
Wi-Fi is available across the estate, ensuring you can stay connected while enjoying the tranquillity of the grounds.
Are there in-room dining options?
Guests can enjoy a selection of dishes delivered directly to their room until 9:00pm. A range of sandwiches is also available 24 hours a day for convenience.
Do you provide spa robes and amenities?
All rooms feature plush bathrobes and Panhaligon’s toiletries, providing a touch of comfort and refinement during your stay.
Are pets allowed in all rooms or selected ones?
We welcome dogs in selected rooms, including seven rooms in the main house and all garden suites. Pets are permitted in lounges and communal areas but are not allowed in the dining rooms.
Do you offer seasonal packages?
We offer a range of seasonal experiences throughout the year, designed to complement our bed & breakfast stays. From curated dining moments to immersive estate activities, each package reflects the rhythm of the seasons.
Are there midweek dining stays?
Guests staying midweek can add dining options to their stay, subject to availability and seasonal programming.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Gift vouchers are available and can be redeemed against stays, dining experiences, and selected activities. They make an ideal present for any occasion.
Can I combine an offer with another promotion?
Unless explicitly stated, offers and promotions cannot be combined. Each package has clear terms to ensure guests enjoy the intended experience.
How often do you release new offers?

Palé Hall offers a wide range of experiences designed to connect guests with the estate and its surroundings. Clay pigeon shooting and simulated clay days available on-site year-round, as well as tranquil fly fishing on the River Dee. Guests can enjoy the experience at their own pace in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
For those seeking creative pursuits, pottery and art classes are offered throughout the year, alongside seasonal exhibitions featuring local artists. In our newly restored wine cellar, guided tastings provide an immersive journey through fine wines, led by our knowledgeable team.
The gardens and sculpture trail invite exploration and reflection, while encounters with friendly Valais Blacknose sheep, Highland cows, and our chickens add a charming, personal touch to the estate experience.
Do you offer guided walks?
Our gardens team is available during the day to lead guided tours of the grounds, sharing insights into the estate’s history, landscape, and seasonal highlights.
Is there a spa or wellness offering?
We are expanding our spa and wellness experiences. Updates will be shared as new treatments and facilities become available.
Are there nearby attractions?
The picturesque town of Bala is just a 10-minute drive away, where guests can enjoy water activities on Llyn Tegid, Wales’ largest natural lake. Quaint shops, cafés, and a scenic railway along the lake add to the charm. Palé Hall is also on the doorstep of Eryri (Snowdonia National Park), offering endless outdoor adventures and breathtaking landscapes.
Can you organise private experiences?
We offer chauffeur services from nearby train stations and airports. Additionally, we work with trusted local partners to arrange bespoke tours and private experiences across North Wales, ensuring every visit can be tailored to your interests and pace.
