Palé Hall's simulated clay shooting experience takes place across four drives on one of the most breathtaking private estates in Britain - the natural contours of the Dee Valley doing what no flat or manicured ground ever could, sending clays rising and curling in ways that will test every gun in the line. From high pheasants to fast partridges, the terrain sets the challenge.
Clay has been shaped by human hands for thousands of years. There are worse ways to spend three nights in North Wales than learning how. This immersive retreat is built around the art of ceramics - guided from first touch to finished piece by a dedicated pottery tutor over three unhurried days.
