THE DAY ON THE FIELD
The day begins at the Palé Hall shoot lodge. Breakfast sandwiches and good coffee - the right foundation for what's ahead.
In convoy, a short drive takes you up into the hills, with views back over the Hall and across the Dee Valley. The shooting starts here. Opening drives are designed to settle you in and find your range.
Mid-morning, the guns are rested and elevenses arrive in the field. Curated by chef partner Luke Selby, using the best produce the valley has to offer - classics, done properly, with a modern edge. Eat well. You'll need it.
The afternoon drives are where the day earns its reputation. More demanding, more rewarding - and with a competitive edge that makes every shot count.
