How to Stay at Palé Hall This Summer: Current Offers Worth Knowing About
Whether you are planning a long lunch, a midweek escape or a week in the mountains with the family, here is what is available right now.
Use Palé Hall as your base and spend the days as they were meant to be spent - out in the mountains, on the trails, beside the lakes.
North Wales in summer is worth the journey. The mountains, the coasts, the river valleys - all of it within reach of the estate, and Palé Hall a considered place to come back to at the end of each day. Whether you are out on Bala Lake, taking on Europe's longest zip line at Zip World, hiking the ridges of Snowdonia or exploring the beaches of the Llyn Peninsula, there is rarely a shortage of ways to fill the days. Summer dates fill up. It is worth getting in early.
A Dinner Worth Planning Around
Luke Selby's summer menu is built around what the season produces in this part of Wales - sourced from the estate's own grounds or locally, specific and shaped by the landscape he has been cooking in since he arrived at the Dee Valley. The Henry Robertson dining room is open to residents and visitors alike. If you are coming with family, the kitchen looks after younger guests too - let the team know when you book.
Your Base for the Summer Holidays
The Adventure Eryri offer gives 15% off stays of three to seven nights throughout the school holidays. Eighteen rooms in the main house and four Garden Suites in the grounds, soft beds and a welcoming kitchen at the end of every day. Snowdonia is on the doorstep and the summer holidays are short - it is worth making the most of both.
Art, Making and Meeting the Artist
The Palé Collection: Full Circle by Glen Farrelly RCA runs throughout the summer - sculptures carved from storm-fallen timber that grew here on the estate, displayed throughout the hotel and gardens. Free to visit for all guests and day visitors. Creative workshops are available on the estate for a more hands-on afternoon, and on 27th June artist Paul Pigram joins us for a free Meet the Artist event, demonstrating his practice in person. Enquire with the team for details on both.
The Wonder of Wales Drivers Club
