Stay

At Palé Hall, a stay is something altogether different. Rooms and suites are shaped by the history of the house, where every detail speaks quietly of another era. Outside, the Dee Valley stretches wide and the hills of Snowdonia rise beyond. Come for a night, and find yourself wanting to stay much longer.

Dine

At Palé Hall, dining unfolds at its own pace - unhurried, considered, and rooted in the land that surrounds us. Each menu tells the story of the season, drawing on the finest Welsh produce for both lunch and dinner, whether you choose to follow the tasting menu or explore à la carte.

Explore

At Palé Hall, the estate is yours to explore. Cast a line, try your hand at clay shooting, or lose an afternoon in the pottery studio. Descend into the wine cellar, gather around the Hearth chef's table, or reserve the private dining room for an occasion worth remembering.

Events

Exclusive use of the house and selected estate spaces is available for intimate gatherings and larger celebrations alike. Event settings can be tailored across our historic interiors and landscaped grounds, creating a backdrop that is both grand and personal. Menus are designed by Chef Partner Luke Selby and his kitchen team - seasonal, produce-led, and paired with wines drawn from our cellar.

Country Pursuits

At Palé Hall, the estate is yours. Cast a line on the Dee, take on four drives of simulated clay shooting across the valley, or saddle up and head out into the hills. Walk the woodland, pick up a rod, or challenge the guns to a rematch. However the day unfolds, the landscape is always part of it.

Gym

On slowing down, moving well, and the quiet case for looking after yourself.

We are pleased to introduce the opening of our new wellness facilities at Palé Hall, now available to all residents throughout their stay.

Wellbeing here is considered as part of the wider experience of the house - quiet, deliberate, and without excess. Palé Hall has always defined hospitality beyond the room and the table. True rest is less visible than that; it is found in the space between things, in the ability to slow down properly, even briefly.

The wellness space reflects this thinking. Calm in design and considered in function, it is built around movement, recovery, and restoration rather than intensity. Equipment by WaterRower and NOHrD brings together precision engineering and craftsmanship, sitting naturally within the fabric of the house.

Beyond the gym, the space is shaped by elemental therapies, each chosen for its proven physical and restorative benefit.

Sauna
Supports circulation, cardiovascular health, and recovery, while encouraging deep relaxation through sustained heat and stillness.

Himalayan Salt Chamber
A controlled salt environment designed to support respiratory health, ease inflammation, and improve breathing quality, particularly for those affected by seasonal or environmental sensitivities.

Cold Plunge
A brief, controlled exposure that stimulates circulation, supports mood regulation, and enhances alertness - particularly effective when used in contrast with heat.

Alongside these spaces are the treatment rooms - quiet, private, and intentionally understated. Treatments are tailored and unhurried, focused on recovery and restoration rather than routine or ritual. A space to fully step away and reset, in its simplest form.

This is wellness as part of the rhythm of a stay. Not separate from it, but woven through it.

Open to all Palé Hall residents. Memberships will follow in due course.
